چکیده

Due to the global growth in popularity of Fifth Generation (5G) cellular communications, demand for shielding against it has risen a variety applications, mainly related cybersecurity but also isolation, calm areas and so on. This research paper aims provide suitable dual-band fractal FSS (Frequency Selective Surface) 5G lower band frequencies: 750 MHz 3.5 GHz. The unit cell is shape bow tie, where each triangular parts are Sierpiński triangles. One major addition central metal strip make manufacturing more feasible tune operation frequencies bandwidths. As with different stage antenna, stages design behave differently. For this application, 2 sufficient, as we able cover frequency bands among those included FR1 spectrum. Some equations were derived using linear regression order specific tools building an FSS. These have high accuracy can be used adapt proposed other frequencies. parameters, which not represented aforementioned equations, adjusted minor tweaking final design. performs well except under large incidence angles. should taken into account when proposing installation structure based on it. A good agreement between simulation measurement results observed.

Single-Layer Bandpass Active Frequency Selective Surface

A single-layer, bandpass, active FSS is presented. It shows good angle of incidence stability for TE incidence, at the operating frequency of 2.45 GHz. It is based on circular loop aperture with each unit cell having four PIN diodes. A novel method for dc biasing is used. About 12 dB average variation in transmission loss, between ON and OFF states, has been experimentally achieved at 2.45 GHz.

Fractal FSS: a novel dual-band frequency selective surface - Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on

The multiband properties of self-similar fractals can be advantageously exploited to design multiband frequency selective surfaces (FSS). A Sierpinski dipole FSS has been analyzed and measured and the results show an interesting dual-band behavior. Furthermore a near-field measurement technique is applied to characterize the FSS response to different angles of incidence. Finally, it will be sho...

Fractal Dual Band Antenna for WLAN Applications

Fractal antenna, as name concerns, uses fractal i.e. structure does not change and repeat it when large focus has created upon it. This repetition feature of this antenna provides a great flexibility that it can be designed and can used in different frequencies. These antennas gives a finite area of coverage but the diameter of perimeter becomes infinite. Fractal antenna is used in most of the ...

Polarization Independent Triple-Band Single Layer Frequency Selective Structure

This paper deals with single layer polarization independent Frequency selective surface (FSS) which acts as a triple band reject filter. The two stop bands are broad with percentage bandwidth 11.16% and 10.13% and one is narrow with 3.33% bandwidth. The band ratio is more than 1.5 and band separation is around 30-35dB. This design is investigated theoretically by ANSOFT® Designer software and p...
